Not and exact replacement but does the job.
It wasn't exactly the replacement motor for my particular Troy Bilt Tiller. The Tecumseh motor it was to replace had two output shafts, the second of which was to operate the reverse gear. I modified the tiller frame to accommodate the new Kohler motor, recognizing I would have to manually pull the tiller backwards for reverse. Still it was better than no motor. Kohler works smoothly and has adequate power to operate the tiller. It is quite compared to the Tecumseh, and starts easily.
