Traditional design works well
The tool I bought was older and made in USA by Craftsman. It was used but still works accurately. New versions are made by other companies and I expect they work just as well. It is a good design that has stood the test of time, and is both simpler and cheaper than some fancy new ones.

Good old fashioned!
I was pleased to still get these traditional leather straps from the original company. The leather is thinner than the old ones but they're nice.

Good deal.
This NOS water pump installation kit was a good deal. It probably cost hundreds new, but I paid a little over twenty. It came with the gaskets and o-ring, which ironically are harder to find now than the pump.
