Excellent overview of pictures and information on the 1913 flood and Troy, Ohio. Really enjoyed seeing the similarities and contrasts of modern day Troy to just over 100 years ago.

An Excellent Civil War read
Excellent coverage on the various aspects: military, personal, social of one of the higher ranking southern Civil War generals. It also goes into the conflicts with General Jackson, which helps one understand more the humanness of both men, and better understand that every leader has their own weaknesses as well as strengths and that sometimes success comes because of and sometimes in spite of their leadership. I love the balance of this book because it gives a fuller picture of the people instead of a cover up of negatives.
