"Nice Quality - some drawbacks"
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice, quality high density plastic system. The rim is a metal rim with a good quality net that is included. For the money, the basketball system is a good value. The (2) drawbacks I had were:
1. They made you put on the large "Cool Jam Pro" decal on the backboard. I needed to measure it out and I used a hair dryer to soften the vinyl decal that came quite creased during shipping. This took me some time to make sure I centered the decal so it would look right. I wish this decal could have been already placed on the backboard instead of the buyer having to put it on.
2. The basketball that they give you is kind of a cheap, light weight plastic ball. I went out and purchased another real basketball at one of my local dept. stores to use instead of the one provided.
Other than these two issues I am happy with the purchase.

Nice Product!
The activator is a must use if you are working with the tite-bond wood glue. You get immediate results by using the activator.

Even though they are a plastic material the chrome looks awesome on my black/aluminum rims!
