Great learn-at-home resource
Very well thought out curriculum. Everything you need to teach your kids at home and more. I doubt anyone would actually be able to do all of the field trips that they recommend, but that's just optional anyhow and it's better to have too many ideas than not enough. We're on our fourth child using the same book and the results are great.

Tons of Fun
My sons and I really enjoy playing this game! We started with Lego Star Wars a few years ago and have enjoyed Lego Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit too.

Awesome Software, BUT it won't install if you have newer than Internet Explorer 6 on your computer.
I've had this software in the past and it is GREAT!!! I was really excited to get it again and couldn't wait to install it on an older Windows XP computer that I got JUST SO I COULD USE THIS SOFTWARE AGAIN!! It was designed to operate in XP and that's what I had in the past when I used it before so I thought everything would work great..... The problem is that this software requires Internet Explorer Version 6. It will automatically update older versions of IE to Version 6 when it installs, BUT if you have a newer version of IE than 5 IT WILL NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE!!!! I've tried to figure out how to uninstall IE, or go back to a previous version, but I can't figure out anything that will work with my Internet Explorer Version 8. Looks like you're OK if you have Version 7 because that can be easily set back to 6, but they changed it after that. I'm really Bummed that I can't get this to work. I guess I'll have to try to find a computer with Windows XP and IE version 6!
