I love the game.
1 of 2 found this helpful I've been a Warriors fan for a log time now. Starting with 6 back on ps2 delving into Samurai warriors a bit. The crossover game like Sengoku, One Piece, Bleach etc.. and finally getting Warriors Orochi 4. This game is different. This time around the open world actually makes me believe I'm currently participating in a war. There are some negatives: combos have been pulled back a bit (the new magic system helps to mitigate this), the open world could be too big for some. You do spend quite sometime on your horse between fights. Leveling is important, you can get one shotted. Now that isn't inherently bad, it just depends on how you feel about grinding or weakening bosses in indirect ways. Overall this game won't be for every Warriors fan. It's nice to see such a long franchise trying something new. If this doesn't sound like the game for you and you want a new Warriors game closer in line with prior games then Warriors Orochi 4 is for you. This game is cheap to pick up so it's worth at least a try.
