This isnt the Bling you think it is (It's much Better)
I used to relegate Strike Industries parts and accessories as "Bling" parts that was popular to the "Gun SHow" crowd that is perceived as the "Buy it cheap, forget quality" crowd. That is not what this brand is. Not even close.
I was building an example for a client that was geared toward bringing attention to their Booth during a huge Industry/Trade Show. Strike Industries had the only parts available that wouldnt require further modification or customization to meet the needs of the client. After inspection, installation, then use, I found the parts and accessories that Strike Industries offer arent just eye candy. The parts perform.
This lower Parts Kit has everything I needed, and as a bonus it was cosmetically pleasing. You pay a little extra (avg $10 more) for the SI kit when compared to your avg MilSPec kit, and it is worth it. The oversized paddle on the bolt Release is well executed and worked really well. It's size allows for use with Billet Receiver, which cannot be said for all Bolt Releases. The pins get the job done extremely well and are spec'd to tight tolerances which translates to less wiggle between the upper and lower receiver.
Installation of all parts falls in line with MilSpec parts, and everything fits and functions as designed.
You cannot go wrong with this kit.

A lot of Blade for the Buck
1 of 1 found this helpful The Citadel SRK is a surprise of a knife. At this price point, I was expecting a novelty knife, but I read a few reviews that said otherwise. I found the reviews to be hard to believe, so I took a gamble and ordered here on Ebay. For under $50 shipped, my expectations were blown away. The knife feels great in the hand, and the blade comes with a very nice edge right out of the box.
I would classify this knife as a Utility Knife, because it could be used successfully as a survival Knife, as well as a Tactical Knife. It definitely leans more toward the Tactical side of things because of the size of the blade, but it still proves quite useful in a Survival category.
The High Carbon Blade holds an edge quite well, and it very easy to correct if the edge is damaged. The Coating is adequate, but will not last very long with hard use seen in a Survival Role.
In a nutshell, it would be very hard to find a blade at this price that will out perform this knife. It is an affordable option because of the Steel used, but dont let that be a turn off. THis Blade Performs.

Wait for the Flash!
Simple to use, and affordable. A great combination. As a hobbyist, this set has worked great for my needs. Not sure how they would hold up or perform for a professional, but so far I have had no reasons to complain.
Battery life has been ideal under moderate use (Photoshoots weekly). Packs up neatly.
No regrets buying this unit and saving some money. I got what I needed, and I perfectly satisfied.
