kids love it
my 4 yr old had this rod and his uncle accidentally threw it in the lake. we got this to replace it but my eagle eyed son noticed that the push button was not exactly the same as his previous model that went in the lake. he now uses a collapsible paw patrol rod on the water and leaves his spiderman rod at home in fear of losing it again.

I had my brother purchase a similar seat from Bass pro shop at the same price point. It is not a very good seat but it is infinitely better than this. The seat has very little comfortable padding and the overall feel is not very good. It feels if you lean back to far you could compromise the integrity of the seat. For some reason it scrapes the hull of my boat when I turn the seat, this does not happen with the other one. Will probably use this til it breaks which won't be long and replace it with another of the Bass pro brand
