This is a model now being replaced by newer model releases. I got a refurbished unit at a substantial discount from original retail range. If you pick up a great deal on this unit in the low $100-125 range then it is well worth purchasing. It can get some great pictures on normal light circumstances interior or exterior. Under dark or tricky light and speed of movement captured it becomes more important to get a feel over time and experience for what works and what doesn't. Like with many tools, the more you use it, and pay attention to results, be willing to adjust techniques and settings used, then you can easily learn to get excellent results on a regular basis.
