Transformers Platinum Edition Soundwave Figure

A good figure overall

This figure, made from the "Masterpiece Soundwave" mold, definitely deserves both the "masterpiece" and "platinum" titles. It's a very high quality figure, and nicely articulated. It also contains all the cassette minions and a non-transforming gun-mode Megatron, all of whom are also good quality. The color scheme (clear with copper) for Soundwave is not the best combination, but I am fine with it as it was only intended for the special "Year of the Goat" occasion. The color scheme for the minions (mainly clear and gray) works better, coincidentally looking a lot like "protoforms" from the Transformers franchise. Only part to have broken on me so far has been the stock for the Megatron gun's stock, which is luckily not required.
