Blade jambed, drive gear stripped out
1 of 1 found this helpful I had this bandsaw for many years only occasionally using it. Then I needed to slice some tack welding between steel angle iron, the blade jambed, and the final drive gear located inside the blade drive wheel, stripped out. All plastic. There was no current limit to the motor, so the weak link failed.

Fit perfect on 2013 Nissan Versa Sedan.
It fit in place of OEM pipe with no install difficulties. I also replaced the rear muffler pipe at the same time. I had to use an O-A torch to heat the bolts to red heat, so they did not twist off, and turn the job into bigger effort. The OEM pipes were stainless, but the flanges is where the failure occurred as these were mild steel and corroded at the welds. So I'm hoping this system lasts a few years. Weld quality looks good on these.

UPDATE: Aug 21, 2023, this resonator pipe failed next to the flange connection to the rear pipe. Almost 4 years of life. I live in Iowa, where salt is the main item used for snow and ice control, so I was expecting around 3 years before failure. Just purchased another one, shipping from easy parts is slow.

Exact replacement NOS ball bearing
This is the 4th bearing I've gotten to repair a 1962 milling machine. Perfect exact same OEM (ND), and ball bearing part number.
The bearings were in perfect new condition, no surface munge from being on a shelf.
