Great addition to any Ken doll collection
Excellent doll for its age, alot of these dolls have an issue with a shine on their face and body if they are not kept out of bright lights.

Dorothy Stratten - The Untold Story (1985, VHS)
1 of 1 found this helpful This video biography, told by Dorothy Stratten herself and those who knew her, offers a poignant and revealing look into the all too short life of Playboy's 1980 Playmate of the Year. Following her rise to fame from poor and humble beginnings, the former Dairy Queen waitress who did hair on the side came to the attention of the slick, pimp like Paul Snider who convinced her to be a contestant in the search for Playboy magazine's much hyped 25th anniversary Playmate. Dorothy ended up as first runner up, and the Playmate for August of the following year. Her beauty, illuminated by a loving and giving personality made an unforgettable impression on all who met her, as evidenced in the heartfelt candor expressed by all represented in this video. Her inability to see the evil that men do allowed Paul Snider to pressure her by guilt into marrying her. A brief shoot to stardom, from bit parts in movies and television to two starring roles ('Autumn Born' and 'Galaxina'), she was poised for mainstream recognition in Peter Bogdanovich's film "They All Laughed". Upon completion of the film, estranged from Snider and living with Bogdanovich, she went to Snider to discuss a divorce settlement. Her life ended in a brutal murder with Snider committing suicide. The well done video, with generous clips from her many photo shoots, life at Mansion West, and comments from Dorothy's mother, former employers, friends and Hefner himself is highly recomended to anyone who has followed the short career of this rare and beautiful shooting star.
