Very poor design and quality control.
I'll keep this brief - don't buy one. Halfway into 3+ hours of assembly time I found the top - the most important visible part - was warped so badly the front and back edges could not be pulled flush unless clamps were used. Worse yet, the 4 outer screw hole that *could* have pulled the top flat (maybe) are completely inaccessible - blocked by other wood parts. I own all sorts of specially carpenters' and mechanics tools and there is nothing that can possibly tighten these screws because of the angle, mounting depth and "blockade". This far into assembly you would NOT want to take it apart - so you're stuck. Other issues - several wood parts were not tagged with the part numbers and easily reversed during assembly due to ambiguous instructions. In my case this caused screw penetrations/chips that had to be repaired - and are still visible. there are also several misaligned drill holes that caused gaps and crooked parts to appear at the front. Screw holes are also incorrectly drilled - ALL of them. They are too narrow for the supplied screws, making assembly nearly impossible with a hand screwdriver (it would take hours!). And the supplied screws are SO cheap that even though they supply extras I used about a dozen of my own to complete it due to stripping AFTER re-drilling the holes to the proper size (dozens of them) and applying wax to all screws to make them easier to insert. I ended up needing 4 different types of carpenters' clamps, a drill/power driver and several driver and drill bits, a straightedge, and wood glue. And still ended up with a table missing attachment screws with visible gaps and a dished top. Just too much hassle to return it. OH - and apparently some sellers are not authorized by the manufacturer to sell this thing - so I ended up with NO support as well. Again - just DON'T by one and save yourself hours of headaches. Pay more for something good. I wish I had. Sorry for the crappy pictures - I was doing it alone and not too happy when I took them....

A fine example of an important time of transition in rock & country music
This limited-release, "Authorized Bootleg" is a must have for fans of "outlaw-country", "alt-country" or whatever tag can be applied to early country-rock (all those titles are poor as descriptive "labels"). Not only is it probably the best combination of performance and recording quality by the Hillman-led Burritos (with or without Gram Parsons), but it stands up well when compared to much of the rock-oriented country produced today. Parsons was a gifted writer and talented singer, but (as evidenced by dozens of bootlegs) lacked stage discipline; Hillman's professionalism really shows here even though he is still a bit weak as "front man". Bernie Leadon steps up, though, and between the two of them they keep the set moving and provide some entertaining bits between songs (the fact no one in New York knew what a burrito was is a classic). New Burrito Rick Roberts is given room to shine (and to fail with the CD's one dud, "Feel Good Music") and provides sterling harmonies. The Burritos didn't really sync well vocally with Parsons, Hillman and Leadon, their model having been along the lines of Buck Owens/Don Rich and the Everly Brothers, but these three really click. The real surprise of the recording is Michael Clark, whose drumming shows timing and touch that really complement the songs; his previous Burritos and Byrds efforts were pretty ragged (he was often reviled by critics as the weakest musician in each group) and often rushed-sounding. This is the first album where he shows consistent, solid timing and dynamics throughout. But as Hillman mentions in his liner notes, the real star here is pedal steel innovator Sneaky Pete Kleinow. From the very beginning of the band Sneaky was the no-nonsense, experienced player the band needed - it's his completely unique style that pushes the Burritos to the top of the list of other early "country-rock" bands. Other steel players such as Rusty Young (Poco) and Buddy Cage (the New Riders of the Purple Sage) were innovative but derivative, using a few unique effects and licks wrapped around conventional pedal steel playing; Pete was a different animal, not only in his choice of instrument (an ancient, cable-operated 8-string Fender 400, albeit highly modified) but in his tuning and pedal changes, use of delay instead of reverb, limited volume pedal application and a single-note approach far more similar to a lead guitar player than a steeler (where moving harmonies are a large part of the traditional fare). On this recording not only is his striking, guitar-like tone clearly heard, but his playing is completely over-the-top and likely to leave most traditional steel players scratching their heads in utter confusion. Pedal steel icon Buddy Emmons once said the only steel player that scared him when they were in the same studio was Pete, as Buddy understood that Pete was on an entirely different level - and really playing an entirely different instrument. But Sneaky doesn't overplay here either - his playing fits the music like a glove. To sum it up, this is a superb musical "photograph" that is by far one of the best examples of a significant point of transition in both rock and country music.

    Doom 3
It was a gift for my son, who says it is one of the best games he's ever played. Varied action, well-fleshed out charachters, and a decent "story" imbedded in it.
