Emily Post by Laura Claridge
The book is well-written and has photographs to supplement the text. I decided to buy the book because I am a fan of etiquette and Emily Post is a name that has long been associated with the subject. I didn't want to buy the book from the bookstore if I could get it at a lower price on eBay. I consider the book a valuable addition to my etiquette book collection.

Laura Bush by Ronald Kessler
I borrowed this book from the library and liked it so much that I decided to buy a copy for my collection. The book is well-written and has many photographs of Laura and George Bush and their family. It is said that this book was written with the permission of the Bush family and I noticed the very same photo of Laura Bush behind the President's desk in the Oval Office, so I think there must be something to that statement. The book gives a great overview of Laura Bush's life and makes her seem like someone you could easily talk to and enjoy her company.

Step by step instructions to master the art of cooking
The authors do a great job presenting the basics of cooking. They explain the significance of the blue apron, what to have in one's kitchen; both tools and ingredients, and explain the basic techniques of food preparation, such as trussing a chicken, chopping, and how to chiffonade. The recipes are easy to follow, have readily-obtained ingredients, and are fun to make. This book has the same ease-of-use as the recipe cards that come with the meal kits Blue Apron home delivers. The book is well-made, has beautiful photographs, and invites the reader to linger on the pages, tempting the home chef to get in the kitchen and create a masterpiece.
