Vive La France

This is probably the best collection of Mlle. Gall's songs of the 1960s. 32 tracks ranging from her 1963 debut Ne sois pas si bete to her last song for Philips, Y'a du soleil a vendre, releeased in 1968. Includes all her hits . Sacre Charlemagne, Baby Pop, Les sucettes, Bebe Requin, and many others. A must for fans of classic French pop. Great remasterings.

Ah,Rats!

A good movie, but not as great as the original. Crispin Glover is weirder than the rats. Still, not a bad film . Grade B.

Fantastic French Femme

This is a good starting point for fans of French Girl Pop. All of the songs were hits between the early 60s to the early eighties. Sylvie was one of the biggest hitmakers of the Ye-Ye period, along with France Gall and Francoise Hardy. Some of her songs venture into Disco, but they are still top-notch. Recommended for fans of well-produced Franco-pop. Her voice is truly a pleasure.
