The best of John Wayne
I've seen a number of John Wayne's well-known movies, but this DVD contains 4 of what I consider the best of them! The Cowboys and Rio Bravo in particular both have tremendous acting in a tremendous story. The Searchers is also a fresh story and a favorite of mine, and Fort Apache is a classic! If you're a John Wayne fan, or even if you're not, this foursome is a must.

So cute!
2 of 2 found this helpful I have purchased Lodge cast iron skillets in many sizes over the years, and this little one has the same high quality as the others. Lodge cast iron skillets now come pre-seasoned, so easy to clean, and a wonderful extra to their smooth finish, unlike some other brands that have a very rough finish. This little skillet is perfect for melting butter, or holding a cooking spoon, or just as décor or an ash tray. You could probably cook a one-egg omelet as well, but I haven't tried that yet.

Finally, an interesting western.
Good story, good photography, good acting. In particular, Wes Brown did a spectacular job of portraying the lead character - a keen, no-nonsense, intense man who had sense of survival and sense of heart. The way his eyes drilled into the other characters was formidable. I've seen him act in more recent romantic films but they are not noteworthy. He is capable of so much better, as this movie proves.
