Seems to work OK but not on OpenSuSe Tumblweed (works but unreliable)

This rating doesn't reflect the device as much as that it would intermittently stop functioning and had to be removed and reinserted to restart it. I think this was due to the bluetooth system under Linux. I'm running OpenSuSe Tumbleweed and there is always a lot of development going on. Long story short... I didn't work reliably on my Linux system. I replaced this with a Jelly Comb keyboard with 2.4GHz dongle and everything seems to work fine. I can use any of the three devices in my work area by pushing a button to connect to the device is wish.

Works fine for power ... understand the limitations.

Really, it works fine as a replacement for the original Escort smart cord. BUT --- It doesn't provide a USB power port AND it doesn't have a mute button. In my case I have a multi port power distribution unit and I connect to it with my tablet when I use it. The software provides a mute button that is more convenient In short, Yes it works fine to power the radar detector. Just what I needed. If you are thinking about getting this understand the limitations described above.
