Dorman Headlight Assembly Review
The Dorman Headlight Assembly was of good quality and appeared to be an exact duplicate of the OEM headlight assembly. It was quite easy to transfer the adjust of the old headlights to the new assemblies with some careful measurements of the adjusting screws on the old units. The new units come with new bulbs installed, which is a very nice bonus. The new units are in fine adjustment and are a great improvement over the old frosted over units now that the days are getting shorter and I am using the headlights more often. They are also a great improvement to the appearance of my 1998 truck. The hardest part of this project was the removal of the old headlight assemblies, particularly the clips that hold the assemblies in. I have a great selection of tools that made the removal possible, but a limited selection would make this job very difficult. This is not emphasized on the YouTube videos.
