Not 'Heavy Duty'...
6 of 8 found this helpful I bought this because it said it was 'Heavy Duty'. I have to disagree, either it is not designed for a scope at all or my scope exceeds 11 lbs? I know it is heavy, but not 11 lbs. The scope wobbled considerably and couldn't hold a position. As soon as I got it spotted and let go of the handle the spot moved off target. I was adjusting the legs and the scope actually fell off and busted on the ground! Not a good first experience.
I was thrown off by the advertising and comments, it does seem quite strong and well made and probably well suited for lighter and shorter devices. To me, this is not 'Heavy Duty', it is light, sturdy and easy to carry, but not 'Heavy Duty' by a long shot.
Truthfully, I wanted another scope anyways, so I will be testing this Tripod again with the new device when I get it. I guess weight will be one of my buying considerations.
