Paradigm cc-390 center speaker
1 of 1 found this helpful This speaker is monster in size, but it delivers tons of clean wide-ranged sound. I use it mostly for music, and it does an especially good job of giving a nuanced rendition of a singer's voice, and helps to create a good soundstage.
It sits between two paradigm Studio 60 main speakers, and the auto speaker setup on my Pioneer receiver knocks it down eight decibels to present a balanced front. When I switch from surround to stereo to hear just the studio 60's the cc-390 is clearly missed, even adjusting for volume.
One needs to consider placement before buying, as it's about 40" long. Maybe put it under the TV.
I didn't compare it with smaller cebnter speakers, so can't comment.

So far so good. BARELY WORKS AT ALL, eXTREMELY HARD TO GET IT TO OPEN CANS; DO NOT BUY!
