LED capsule plastic case is too large to use without modifying fixture enclosure
Having both under cabinet lights and a desk lamp I can say first hand this is a very large retrofit bulb assembly. The desk lamp had to be modified by removing the rear reflector housing and cutting out a space for the plastic housing. This does use a reflector because the light only focus downward unlike a clear bulb. Same for kitchen cabinets, the reflector housing would need to be modified. Color is a bit more yellow than anticipated as the halogens it replace are more white.
