Stable but runs a bit hot
2 of 2 found this helpful A nice upgrade over the e5700 but core temps run 52/57C @ idle vs the 35/39C of the original. 65/67C @ 100% load using Prime95 for 3 days w/o any errors. The HP Omni Pro 110 it's in doesn't have a CPU fan only an aluminum/copper tube fin-style heatsink connected to the case fan which runs @ 1566 RPM & seems to do the job. No BSOD, No Stalls, No Lock-ups running Win7 Pro 32/64-bit 4GB on dual-boot. It's a great processor to upgrade an older computer with an LGA775 socket. 4 instead of 5 stars for the higher temps.
