Hardcover book, "Gunman's Rhapsody"
I read the book the same evening it arrived in the mail. I am a real fan of western novels, especially the ones that shed a positive light on lawmen. Gunman's Rhapsody does just that. It is based on the story of Wyatt Earp. However, Robert B. Parker added his own creative spin on Earp's life story especially the Tombstone era. Gunman's Rhapsody is the only western I know of which written by Robert B. Parker with the exception of the Appaloosa series which includes Appaloosa, Resolution, Brimstone and Blue Eyed Devil. All five of these books are great reads I would reccommend to all western novel fans. Parker has a way with words that really brings an authentic reality to the wild old west towns in America. Gunman's Rhapsody is a great addition to my collection.
