Great for what it is!
Specifications are a little misleading, as I fed one 24 volts, and it slowly started to let the smoke out.. Double checked polarity, and voltage - within spec.
They're quite happy at 12 volts, however. Great sound and decent power out of a very small package. I'm going to try 18 volts and see if I can get any more power out.
In short, I'd buy a few more.

Works like a charm, just mind the driver CD.
Sure makes programming Motorola radios easy! Sure, you can fiddle around with the RIB box and awkward serial cables, but why when USB is so easy! Now... the bad. The cable comes with it's own driver cable. Use IT!
If you already have a USB to serial adapter installed, it's driver will not work for this cable. You have to do the Texas Two Step with the drivers to get them to work ( uninstall your cable, install this cable... etc. ) Other than that, works like a charm! So far, I've used it on CDM1250 and CDM1550 radios. I attempted a CM300, but my software was incompatible. The program did at least report back the radio was incompatible, so I at least know it did a little talking.
The disc I got with my cable was poorly translated from several languages back and forth.. so I had to dig around to find the driver files.

Can't go wrong here!
These should last decades in the service I'm using them in. They are way overkill! They might see maybe 750 mA and they're rated much higher. I'm using them in a lighting control circuit, these SCRs are switching and holding the relay that actually controls the lights. I do a lot of stuff like this and I needed a lot of these type of switching devices. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat if I need more.
