In regard to Garmin it is a nice toy, I mainly use it for orientation, speed, elevation, and timing to a destination

Sometimes it is a pain in the ass when trying to type in a word. I have to make sure it responds to my finger.
The speed function is really nice since some of speedometers are off .i.e my VW Passat and BMW K1200LT which reads high. And if you have a vehicle with (I think) larger tires will read a lower speed. It also has the a posted speed limit in your position which is nice for me. I have two. I was also told by Garmin the map layout of the map, colors, etc. may be different for each unit. I just the visual presentation of the 1350.
