Charge 4 is Ok but consider this..............................
The Charge 4 sits in the middle of two other JBL Bluetooth portable speakers. The Flip 4 and the Xtreme 2.
I wanted to move up from the Flip 4 to the Charge 4 because I wanted a bigger sound and some bass. The Flip 4 is clean and sounds good for the money but for the current price of the Charge 4 I Was not impressed. It has a clean sound and maybe a little more bass. It has a single speaker rather than dual drivers and I noticed that. It was not the big upgrade I envisioned.
So for the price of an original JBL Xtreme which is just a little more then a full priced Charge 4 or at the current discount of an Xtreme 2 this is a major, major, upgrade. Much bigger sound, much better bass but not boomy.
By the way I think two Flip 4s in party or stereo mode (spread out a little) is a better bigger sound then one Charge 4.
The Xtreme 2 will not leave you wanting any more. I even heard the Boombox which is the next step up from the Xtreme 2 and I think the Xtreme 2 is slightly clearer sounding. Can't compete with the bass of the boombox though.
Best bang for the buck is an Xtreme2 at a discount right now!
Hope this helps. Nothing wrong with the Charge 4 otherwise, it is well built.
Hope this helps

Buying an original used CD/Radio unit is the way to go. Please see product review.
This is the original OEM CD/Radio unit for Toyota Rav4 2009 and other years before and after this year. Check first before replacing. Many, many many times more expensive buying a new one from a Toyota dealership not including installation. Easy to replace it. Make sure that the replacement unit doesn't have the JBL logo on it that is different and requires a radio code to install in the vehicle. If your original unit does have a JBL Logo on it find a used one like that but be prepared to input the required radio code to enable it. My unit had a dead CD unit so getting a used one solved the issue and back in business. TIP: Get on YouTube to watch the removal/installation videos for your replacement unit and save yourself a lot of aggravation.

Infinity Beta 10 speakers good bang for the buck!
1 of 1 found this helpful The Infinity Beta 10 series speaker make excellant surround speakers or even when used as main speakers on their own in a small room. The sound is full and clean, open and very satisfying without any harsh or shrill highs even at higher levels. Bass is complete, well balanced and definitely not lacking. I use a pair of Beta 20 speakers on stands (slightly larger woofer) for my main front speakers (with separate sub) and use the Beta 10s for surround along with an Infinity Beta C360 center channel. Using speakers with similar drivers in a 5.1 surround system for a seamless sound does make a difference I found. I believe the Beta Series has been discontinued so Ebay is a good source to find them still. The black ash finish is easier to find then the cherry finish these days. Can be purchased for significant discount 'used' or even 'new in box' from their original list price years ago, making them an even greater deal. Their are plenty of reviews on the web about these fine speakers, all good it seems. Highly recommended with no regrets.
