About
Like a lot of eBay members, I’m into a lot of different things. Lately, I’ve been building watches and collecting coins. I also raise bees, so I’m always looking for something to keep my beehive going.

Meh! It could be better.
I got this so that I could use it with my Garmin, which needs Ant+, and with the Strava app, which connects via Bluetooth. The design doesn't work well on my mountain bike. It's hard to position it so that it reaches my crank arms for the cadence sensor and over to my carbon wheels for the speed sensor. The vibration knocks it out of alignment with one or both. I think the design was meant for road bike frames. It seems to connect with my Garmin computer easily, but it doesn't work well with Strava or Strava doesn't work well with it; I'm not sure. It gets easily recognized by the Wahoo app, but I don't know what protocol it uses. I'm hoping it works with Zwift, so I can use it on my indoor trainer. I would like to look at alternative sensors that have a better design and work with more computers and apps.

Slim and light weight with an elegant look
1 of 1 found this helpful The pictures really do represent what you're getting. The case fits well. It takes a little work to get the plastic chrome pieces to fit, but they seem to be made well and didn't break even though I took them on and off several times. Once you get them on properly, they stay on and look great. I am very impressed.

They Serve the Purpose
I ordered these for my Trek 7.3 FX to use it as a basic commuter in wet conditions. The packaging was well done and I was impressed with their light weight. The price was fair, but about the same as the local bike shop, so I really didn't save as much as I thought I would by buying them on eBay. (I should mentioned that I didn't know my LBS sold them until after I got them.)
I ordered the 35mm model to fit on 32mm tires, even though it was recommended that I get a wider model. Maybe the B42 would've been better.
It takes a while to install them and get them adjusted. Other reviewers took several hours to get them on correctly and I did too. Be prepared to "play" with the adjustment. You might have to bend the wires a little to get them aligned perfectly.
I wanted a tight fit, so I cut about one inch off each metal strut. This only leaves about a 3mm gap between the tire and the metal clips where the struts attach to the fender. If you do this, your wheels better be true and your tires seated evenly on the rims. I believe that SKS could've designed a better way to attach the clip to the strut to keep it from protruding on the inside of the fender. If the clips and the struts attached on the outside of the fender's interior space, these would work better. If it proves problematic, I will fabricate this a better way.
I expected a more solid feel from this design, instead, they seem very flimsy and I need to be careful not to bump them or lean the bike against anything that touches these fenders. I worry that they will rub if they get bumped. Again, this is probably because of my own preference for such tight tolerances. If you order a bigger size, you should have less worries.
I thought about attaching the rear fender to the rack, but didn't have to do this. The clip that attaches to the brake mount worked fine. The Trek 7.3 FX comes with a convienient fender mount down by the BB, but I had to drill another hole in the fender to align with this.
