Nikon COOLPIX P950

Versatile camera with incredible built in zoom lens

Great for situations when you want a decent picture but don't want to lug a bunch of equipment or spend a lot of time setting up the perfect shot. The built in zoom lens is excellent and easy to use for nature photography. I have a more sophisticated Nikon DSLR, but the P950 is my go-to camera for outdoor photography -- e.g., birdwatching and wildlife photography. It does have manual settings for those who want more control over the image, but the auto setting does a fine a job for my purposes.
