Better than I expected
Although I wouldn't normally consider a corded mouse, I can wear out a big-brand cordless mouse after a year or so, which starts to get expensive. I must say, so far, I have no reason to believe the build quality of this mouse is inferior to the ones I used to buy for £30+. Also, the fact it's compact and has a easy click-action vastly outweighs the slight inconvenience of having a cable, for me. Even if this mouse doesn't last any longer than the big-brands, I'll probably buy another one, because it was cheap enough.

As good as any
Don't be fooled by vastly more expensive cables with big, butch connectors. That's the way to go when buying speaker cables but in the digital world, this 0.5m TOSLink transmits the data just as well as any other product in its category. How do I know? Because missing data results in glaringly obvious errors on screen, not "slightly softer blacks", or some other subjective BS! The only thing I'd warn is remember to take the little protective plastic tips off the metal tips before attempting to insert the plugs. After that, it's a total 'set and forget'.

Good in theory
The idea of building a certain amount of trackpad functionality into a mouse should have made this product a sure-fire winner. Unfortunately, a combination of its long, low physical form and sluggish click-action, meant I found the unit quite tiring for prolonged use. After a week, I was back to using a track-pad under my left hand and a small, £6.99 no-brand corded mouse under my right.
