Way too narrow, too small for most headset bands.
2 of 2 found this helpful The actual working width of this item is only about 1 inch. So if any part of your headband is wider than 1 inch it's not going to work for you.

Great buy
Great quality, solid metal, well machined. I can imagine easily paying 2 or 3 times this in a local hardware store.

Works well, not the best mounting system.
Well, it does offer a highly improved image quality, and it's a plug and play so it's simple to use. My only complaint is that I bought this specifically to clip onto top of laptop screen, and move the angle up or down independently of laptop cover. (It's for a musical application). While it does do this, it's a bit awkward and requires 2 hands. Would have been better if it came with a clamping mechanism that held camera fast on top (or anywhere else). Also, I've had problems getting the internal mic to work correctly on zoom, so I've had to use another separate mic, but I may still be able to work this out.
