The clear picture
I had originally bought a ViewSonic CRT Monitor several years ago. I had purchased it from a store and choose it based upon the sharpest and clearest picture of all the monitors there. I personally do not care for TV and have not one in my house, but I do like watching movies and do so using the DVD player and monitor on my computer. I desired to update to a flat screen monitor and so went with the excellence that I had been acustomed too with this brand and I have not been disapointed with one exception. My original CRT Monitor had a switch for text brightness to picture/Video brightness where as this on does not. It has a memory switch but that only works in one direction and I have to manually reajust the clarity/brightness after every movie to go back to text.
Having said that , I stil believe that this particlar brand and model number has got to be the sharpest or at least one of the sharpest and most clear I have seen and I am very, extremely satified with this purchase. I am running a high end machine with a fairly good graphics card and do not know if the monitor would be as good w/o. Thanks again for this product from a satified and well pleased buyer.
