Replacement gears
These worked better than original ones in that they were heavier, thicker gears.

Casio Commando C811
May not be the best phone for everyone. I treat it pretty rough and it keeps working. It couldn't take being run over by my Dixie Chopper. Second one didn't flout in the pond. So we're on number three. Have to have extra heavy duty battery to go all day.

Hitachi UR18DSL Site Radio
I have the older Hitachi 18v batteries and tools so this is the radio for them. Unfortunately it's not available in US. It took awhile to get, but to me it was worth it. Radio sounds great. It can charge my phone and zune and play both.
