Near perfect replacement latch
Needed a replacement latching mechanism for my sliding glass patio door as an internal spring broke. This unit was a perfect fit and an easy project to replace. The only negative was that I had to move the keeper that the latch catches, which was easily done. When purchasing, be sure to remove the old mechanism and measure it, the first units I found had different dimensions than the unit I had, though they looked identical in the pictures.
