Very sticky glue strings coming out of the bottle..

I'm not sure if this is an old bottle or if this is how this works but it is very sticky coming out of the bottle. When I'm applying it around my edges, glue strings comes from the brush and gets all over my face, forehead, and fingers. Every where but where it suppose to go. I was very disappointed. Had to find a different kind of wig glue.
