Brilliant
Although it was clearly marked as a recovered item, you really wouldn't have known. Top quality, many thanks

My first Manfrotto Tripod
This is my first proper Manfrotto tripod (having previously had many generic others). The first thing to note is that this a quality product. It light and compact, easy to carry and to use when your out and about. I’m well impressed and hoping for many years good service.
There is a “but”.
As it is light weight, some people may wish to invest in something a bit bigger, and a lot more robust, especially if you spend a lot of time in the wilderness, with a big camera and a large lens.
This Manfrotto will cope, but there maybe a need to see what suits you.

What a nice, little camera, lightweight and easy to use
I have grown up with firstly film, and then Digital SLR cameras. And, normally, I love to hold something well built, with a little bit of weight behind it.
Having tried mirrorless cameras (and being disappointed) before, I thought I ought to give mirrorless another try (the future looks like it may well be mirror free)
Firstly I purchased this camera because it was a Canon device
I trust the brand.
And I wasn't disappointed.
Firstly, the form factor is substantially smaller than what I am used too.
But its none the worst for that.
Once you get used to using the rear screen (there is a "traditional" viewfinder, but I found myself using this less and less on this particular device), this is a joy of a camera to use. It is light, well designed and easy to use.
There is a snag - the downside of this device is that the screen movement/position is obstructed by fitting the camera to a tripod - a minor issue to me, and, in some cases can be mitigated by mounting the tripod via a lens mount if this is available.
I should also mention that I purchased the lens adaptor (EF-S to EF-M) at the same time, an option well worth considering if you already a mass of original Canon EF mount lens like I have. And, as a massive positive, it makes no obvious impact of the quality of the image.
although not having an M mount lens to compare image quality with, this comment is quite subjective.
If you want a first, well priced, mirrorless camera - you won't go far wrong.
