Big surprises in little packages
This is a most impressive motor. I am using 24 volts/ 50 amp switch to activate. It is under a load of several pounds of pressure. It puts out under a load, 5047 RPM. For a first time user of a small appliance, this is remarkable. Absolutely remarkable. I am not using any geared or planetary system. Wonderful results. The motor doesn't even get warm while under continuous use for several minutes. This is used as a starter motor. Excellent torque, and duration. Great RPM. I highly recommend it.

Not a sound and well operating unit
This is a defective unit. It appears that there may have been attempts to repair this unit. The top does not close down properly, thus the rewind is very loud and exaggerated noises..The tape does not open up automatically as it is suppose to, after the tape has successfully rewound. Not happy with this at all. Too much of an inconvenience to send back, and go through the trouble of a refund. Thus, I removed the top have (the cover), and figured out a way to stop all the noise. It now rewinds as it should. However, it still does not automatically open after successfully rewinding. I will try to figure that out as well.

lightweight and accurate
The Disc Drive fits perfectly. It works properly too. The model and serial numbers are exactly what was in my laptop to begin. Excellent choice. Arrived earlier than expected.
