Electric Sliding Gate Opener 3500lbs Automatic Driveway Operator w. 2X Remotes

Not nearly enough instruction but it works quite well.

I might have given this a 4.5 star if the instructions were useful or if there was a YouTube install video specifically for this gate opener. I had to watch several videos of different models to piece together how it worked. Some parts had to be modified to work. This particular gate opener needed 3 chain connection links but only came with 2 so I had to go to Tractor Supply to get more. The chain connectors at both ends of the gate had to be drilled a little larger to accommodate the chain connectors. (they didn't fit through the hole on connector) Instructions are limited and a bit vague. The electrical connection to power isn't obvious if you don't know how to read a schematic. The "L" (Line Black wire) the "N" (Neutral White wire) are both on very right of the unit while you're standing opposite the chain side. The ground (copper or green) is (pretty obvious) on the left and hooked up a little different from the Line and Neutral. The stop magnets only seemed to work on one side of the gate (open or closed) and weren't marked. Took a little while to figure that out as they both looked identical, I switched sides and they worked fine. I had to install a gate track and wheel on the concrete but it wouldn't be required with a gate that tracks well. The unit was very quiet and smooth during operation. Once installed I was pretty happy with it. I would recommend it but it's not a super easy install.

Very good product.

The copy I got was perfect. I've read that other people are having a problem with a disc or two but I had no problems at all. Used them with my Samsung TV (battery glasses) and my Samsung DVD player. 3D was very good. (didn't watch the other format) I've seen bad ratings for the movie but I'm only rating the product itself here, not the movie (though I really like it :) Haven't tried to get the digital copy though. I know I have to redirect my internet through a program to get it and probably won't bother. The price on this is good enough that I can do without it. I would recommend this to a friend, or even an enemy if he likes The Hobbit....

Almost great but...

I bought this product because I have older 18 volt tools and plan on switching to the 20 volt as they stop working (some already have). I don't want to keep buying 18 volt batteries and not be able to use them later so this was a good option. I'd have given it 5 stars but the adapter is very hard to get out of the 18 volt tools. The 20 volt batteries come out of the adapter easily but I need to switch the whole unit over to the 18 volt tools I have and it's not very convenient. Overall a decent product at a good price.
