Less than I expected.

This may be premature, but the engine ran with the kit that was in it after I boiled the pump membrane to restore its shape. Ran very well. When the kit arrived, I noticed that the membrane was punched out with what appears to have been a dull punch and it was distorted in some areas. I put it in the carb and the engine will not run. It will fire, but quits. I need to dig into it more. I may put the old membrane back in and see if it runs. If so, then the kit is not acceptable. Unfortunately, I don't think I can update this rating either for the better or worse. I might try to post another review and reference this review for clarity.

Best shooting accessory I've purchased in years.

Should have bought a pair of these years ago. Work great on the firing line. Only complaint is the volume control is difficult to find by touch since you cannot see it while wearing. But I suspect this is intentional as it avoids hitting it inadvertently and changing the setting. Only concern is how well the exposed wires will hold up with use. Although I see a lot of these on the firing line and have not heard a single complaint. Very comfortable to wear all day. My only true complaint is with this rating system. "Awesome sauce", is not something that would ever come out of my mouth or even enter my thoughts. These muffs work exceptionally well for the money.

Great Value

I am a formally trained machinist that went on to become an engineer in the power generation industry. I have a small machine shop in my home and restore vintage motorcycles as a personal interest. I have found the Hanson taps and dies to be of excellent quality for the price. In other words a great value. I've tried some of the cheaper products like those from Horror Fright Tools and they are a complete waste of money. These probably would not hold up in a production shop, but for home use or even a specialty shop, I think that they are a great value.
