My First Accutron II
I own four vintage Bulova Accutron Model 218D watches. I like the style and I like the 34mm case size. Buying a 42mm Bulova Accutron II Alpha 97A110 was my first large watch purchase.
I really like the dial. It looks very much like an Accutron Model 214 Spaceview. The watch keeps perfect time. It is not as heavy on my wrist as I expected.
I like everything about my Accutron II except the leather band. I couldn't figure out how to secure the double buckle. I bought a nice deBeer brown Lizard grain leather band and put the Accutron II band in the box.
If you own collect or just like the Bulova Accutron tuning fork style, I would recommend the Accutron II Model 97A110 if you want to buy a 21st century Accutron.

Beautiful watch. Keeps amazingly accurate time. It is 41mm compared to 34-35mm for a vintage Accutron 214 or 218 watch.

G-S Hypo Cement
The pinpoint tip is the perfect tool for very fine glue work for watch repair, arts and crafts. I recommend it highly.
