Experience sound as it was originally produced in the studio with these affordable professional monitors
I purchased this Focal Alpha 50 monitor to have a pair for my office computer. Connected to the Scarlett 2i2 interface, I now enjoy music, movies, and Zoom meetings in an immersive soundstage with true stereo imaging. I now know what all the hype means about hearing everything as it was produced in the studio: there is no longer any need to fiddle with equalization because it is perfect as is. That this could be achieved with a price I can afford is truly astonishing!

The Ultimate Tea Maker: Versatile AND Precise
1 of 1 found this helpful The two big variables in tea making - temperature and time - are handled deftly by the Breville One-touch Tea Maker. No more oversteeping the pot or leaving a tea bag in too long. And the temperature control is precise and so much easier than guesswork or a hand-held thermometer.
With only three parts to rinse after each use, cleaning is very easy.
I especially like the ability to choose or set variable times. If I'm drinking oolong or green tea, I know that I can do more than one steep. So I set the time for mild or medium for the first steep, then I add a bit more new tea to the basket for the second (or third) steep and increase the time and/or use the basket plunging feature to increase the brew strength.
Most of the time, the one-two touch for tea type and brew strength is enough for the perfect cup(s) of tea, but I really appreciate this tea maker's versatility as well as its precision.

Gets the job done .. with some difficulties
You can get a compact, nicely puffing cigarette if you can manage to get the cigarette tube onto the nozzle without crinkling the tube end and rendering the tube useless. I switched cigarette tube brands from the flimsy Gamblers to the sturdier Zig Zags, and that helped somewhat.
It's also difficult to guage how much tobacco to put in the chamber: too little, the cigarette burns quickly, too much, the mechanism arm is difficult to push and the tobacco jams in the chamber.
Definitely a learning curve with this machine - I have gone back to my Top portable machine for making cigarettes as needed, and now use the Swift for times when I make a half dozen or more at a time.
