An intriguing watch
An engaging story made all the more interesting by being colourised.
The introduction of a now- familiar foe gives context in the decades-old Doctor Who canon-which-has-no-canon but without which the lore would be so much poorer.
Plenty of fascinating bonus content of interest to Whovians and lesser mortals alike.

Lovely humour from a bygone era
Hi De Hi is a gentle family comedy set during the time when the British holiday camp was king. As the series progress fashions change and the Maplins crew adapt, or fail to.
The show features many hilarious moments and the characters develop, and we see them grow together. The cheap foreign package holiday ultimately deals a killer blow to the camp and the pathos is keenly felt after so many years of good times.
They really don't make them like this any more, as 'You Rang M'Lord' and 'Oh Doctor Beeching' showed.
A jolly saga with a great company of actors, some who sadly didn't live as long as the show.

Absorbing stuff
Brilliant collection of stories, written in an engaging style. Some real page-turners from one of the master craftsmen of the ‘classic era’.
