    Klipsch ProMedia 21 THX Speaker
    Feb 19, 2023
Fantastic sound from small computer desktop speakers with subwoofer -- all at a great price!
Excellent sound quality from small computer desktop speakers with strong, adjustable bass from the included subwoofer that sits unobtrusively under my desk next to my PC workstation tower. Easy setup for Windows PCs with a 3.5mm speaker/headphone jack (no USB connection options for these speakers). Supplied cable plugs into the 3.5mm speaker/headphone jack on the PC from the Klipsch Control Pod that attaches to the bottom of one of the two desktop speakers; another cable from that Conrol Pod connects the Subwoofer that requires 110VAC power (power cord included); included speaker-wires permanently attached to each of the two desktop speakers connect to a 4x push-release terminal block on the subwoofer. The short metal stands (rubber foot pad stickers included) on both desktop speakers angle the sound upward and aid with directing cables toward the back corners of my computer desk (where I have cable management holes for a clean look). With the ControlPod attached under the left speaker, this puts the volume controls (1 knob for main speaker volume and a separate knob for subwoofer volume) and also puts the available 3.5mm Aux In jack (for connecting another sound source) and a headphone jack all within easy reach at the left edge of my desk (the correct side for wired headphones). There's a bright LED on the ControlPod indicating the system is powered on -- too bright in my opinion, but easy enough to mask/dim with a small piece of tape. This Klipsch system has plenty of power and generates more than ample volume for crisp, clean audio to effectively fill any mid-sized office or small conference room.

Dell P2418HT 24" LED LCD Professional Full HD IPS Touchscreen Monitor Black
    Aug 09, 2022
Great multi-touch full-HD monitors refurbished at a fair price
Great multi-touch full-HD hi-res monitors. I purchased a pair of Dell P2418HT touch-screen monitors for use below a 55" 4K non-touch TV monitor to form a trio of extended displays in a music studio environment. Set low to the desk at a 50-degree angle of tilt (the unit is capable of 60-degree tilt), the included Dell stand protrudes roughly 5" behind the display top -- a total of 15" from front monitor edge (bottom of screen) to the back of the stand. If your desk is less than 24" deep, these monitors may need to stand more upright which will raise the viewing height of any large screen display set behind -- unless you use a sliding keyboard tray beneath your desk surface so the monitors can be low & close to the front edge of your desk. For reference, my desktop is 30" deep in the pics below. Nothing can compare to the traditional tactile feel of smooth 100mm faders and actual rotary control knobs for mixing or mastering music tracks, but compared to the static layout of buttons and knobs on hardware control surfaces, I'm finding touch screens easier and more intuitive for adjusting the many parameters that alter the sounds on a plethora of virtual instruments and digital effects plugins -- all by touching right on the GUI of the plugin rather than reaching for (and positioning) a mouse to accomplish the same task. In a previous desk design, I used a Planar Helium PCT2485 (which has thicker black bezels but a flat glass edge-to-edge surface) and a Behringer X-Touch control surface(with 100mm motorized faders and endless encoders). By comparison, though the Planar Helium Stand is equally stable and takes far less depth on the desk, I like the display panel of Dell's P2418HT monitors better (and Dell's front-mount menu controls offer better placement than the Planar's right-side mounted menu controls for my side-by-side setup). The slight raised edge of Dell's ultra-thin bezels does not interfere with accurate touch control, and the narrower width (less bezel) puts two side-by-side monitors within comfortable reach (prox 2.5" less to stretch across the pair). Dell P2418HT monitors were automatically recognized by Win10 as touch devices when connected through USB (type B to type A) and either DisplayPort or HDMI. Note, there is no USB type-C connectivity. Both touchscreens were easy to calibrate independently for accurate touch recognition. All 3 of my monitors were easily identified, arranged, and configured under stock Win10 display settings. These were used/refurbished monitors. There are no dead pixels and no screen scratches on my Dell units. There are a few minor scuffs and one minor crack on the corner of a stand that does not affect monitor performance. Dell makes a cable management panel that covers the back connections and ships with new units (neither of my refurbished units include this cover panel -- but its absence not visible in my application). I'm a musician -- not a graphic artist, so I can't speak to the monitor's true color-rendering accuracy but images on these displays look bright, sharp, and realistic to my eyes. Great value if you need a 24" 10-point touchscreen @ 1080p, 60Hz.
