Schrade Frontier Full Tang Gurkha Kukri Fixed Blade Knife 3Cr13 Steel SCHGK1 NEW

Strong, heavy blade

I have owned 6 or 7 Gurkka blades in the past and used similar blades in Vietnam. Most were hand made by locals but none of them had the heft and the swing power like this one. I have used it to down small trees and to chop a lot of wood with absolutely no blade chipping and it has retained it's relative sharpness throughout the 4 months of fairly heavy use. It is not a lightweight whip it out to whittle blade.

7 position mil-spec receiver extension buffer tube - 7075/T6 Aluminum - US MADE

Perfect for 308

I bought this tube because my buffer and spring were pretty tight compressed and I didn't want to trim the spring. I did trim the buffer end (the short 308 buffer) just a bit but it was still pretty tight. This tube solved all the tightness and failure to charge situations. It is about one inch longer than the 6 position tube and works great. Fit and finish are perfect.

Bond Hay Hook

Great hook, still holding up

I have used a number of hay hooks over the years, many have fallen apart or broken at the joints right at the onset of major strain. This Bond hook has already held up great and has been used by at least 4 different workers in a pretty heavy-duty usage. The cushioned handle makes them really nice to use over a long period of time and the opening is big enough to accomodate fairly bulky cold weather gloves. Overall, one of the best I or any of the employees here have used in many years.
