Great children's book
I have only read A Long Way from Chicago (of the three books I bought) a long time ago, but felt compelled to own it. It is a great story, with vivid characters and out-of-the-box plot. I fell in love with Richard Peck as a writer and wanted to own more of his books. You won't regret reading this author!

A wonderful, touching book
This is a wonderful, instructive book about a boy who started off troubled and turned his life around. Very well written, too.
