Professional quality at a DIY price
This is an excellent piece of work. The front is beautifully clear, the wires are pre-attached, great quality and already tinned. The packaging took a bit of a beating, but the packaging design kept the product from getting damaged. And when I gave it a test, it simply worked as great as it looked. If I need to come back for solar cells, I know the first seller I'm going to check with.

Almost perfect
1 of 1 found this helpful The Altec Lansing Octiv Stage MP450 is a great device if you are looking for an iPad charging stand with speakers. Add in the ability to swivel from portrait to landscape mode (smoothly - no snapping noises), and you've got something that transforms your iPad into an excellent bedside clock and entertainment system. And then allow it to gently fold back so it is flat to the base, so you can use it wall-mounted, or heck, for all those games that play well on a tabletop.
The remote can be somewhat fickle (these are older units and may arrive with a dead battery, but those are cheap and easy to replace), and the instructions for mounting the silicone spacer (in case you have an iPad2) are cryptic at first, but for the money, I haven't found anything that can even come close in quality and features.
