Great for its intended use, but not perfect.
1 of 1 found this helpful I wanted to use this like a PC gaming headset, but it just won't work for that. For its intended use of listening to music and taking calls on a mobile, it's fantastic.
I got it open box for $129 and I'm happy. I wouldn't have paid the $300+ retail though.
Pros:
- Super comfortable
- Great sound quality (great bass response, but not overdone or boomy)
- Great noise cancellation (though I don't know how it stacks up to the competition)
- Compact and lightweight
Cons:
- Will not send a mic signal over the 3.5mm port, even though it uses a 4-pin cable that should allow this!
- Will switch to a low quality/mono mode when using the mic over bluetooth or USB, so you need a separate mic for anything serious on a PC.
- You'll accidentally activate the touch controls a lot until you get used to it.
- Can't charge over USB while using with 3.5mm, you'll hear a whine.

Much better than Corsair HS70
These are very comfortable with very decent sound. The ear cups have nice breathable foam around the ears. I've also used the Corsair HS70, which was a big downgrade in comfort and sound quality compared to these.
