Lots of fun with these
These make great crystal radio detectors. Very sensitive and always fun to play with! Kind of small and maybe a bit difficult for some to solder, but well worth the effort. The seller is also a nice person to deal with. I've bought from him many times and have always been happy. Give these parts a try! 73 Bill NT9K..

Not just toy parts for kids
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought these to use in copies of old time radios that I build. I use these for the station tuning belts. Having them clear is a bonus as it will allow light to pass through the dial, so you can see better. I did have to drill out the center holes to mate up with 1/4 variable capacitor shafts. No problems with that either. Fine product with alternate uses!

Let there be light
2 of 2 found this helpful Kind of expensive, but my sun conure seems to like it! Sure helps to show off his beautiful colored feathers. This is my 3rd time replacing this bulb. The 2nd one lasted a long time, but eventually got hot and melted the bulb tubes out of the plastic socket. Even so, it still kept working. They say this type lighting is good for parrots. For that reason alone, I'll continue to use these bulbs!
