Decent processor especially at the eBay price.
Got this as a temp/spare processor while having my 4790K delided. Performs pretty well and my MB allows a little FSB OC to push it to 4.0GHZ. I definitely noticed the performance hit (but I've been running my 4790K at 4.8GHZ) . The K models are better because you can OC them.

Works well but doesnt like long HDMI
I purchased this unit based on reviews and price. At first it worked fine when I connected for the first hour. After that it came up with a firmware update message so I ran the update. After the update finished it rebooted and then I got a black screen. At first I thought the update failed or was still processing so I waited an hour or so. Eventually it turned off or I reset it. After that still no image so I took it to another TV and plugged it straight in, worked fine. Went back to theater, no joy. Eventually after troubleshooting and reading other forums I found it did not like the long HDMI to my receiver after the FW update. For now I moved it to the rack with my gear instead of living room cabinet. Eventually I hope another update will fix the issue because my PS3 still works fine with the long HDMI cable @ 1080P. I do notice an image quality difference with this player over my PS3 or Xbox for movies and Netflix!
