Does what it's supposed to do.
Fits my ProBook 6360b perfectly, and even has room for an oversize battery pack that extends beyond the rear edge of the laptop case. I have tried several of the connections on the dock, and the ones I've tried all work properly.
The only quirk I've noticed is that, for some reason, it will not work with the OEM power adapter that came with my laptop (Genuine HP) but works fine with a generic aftermarket power supply. Both supplies work fine when plugged directly into the computer. The dock itself is a genuine HP product.
Both the dock and the laptop were purchased recently (from separate sellers) as refurbished items, and they both look and work like brand new.

As good as you're going to get for the money
3 of 3 found this helpful I have recently purchased 3 of these; 1 new one for a church, a used one for another church, and a refurished one for myself. I have not had them long enough to be able to report on their reliability. I got lucky; the used one looks like it just came from the factory. I'm writing this for those who, like me, haver never had a stand-alone CD recorder before. So, in no particular order, here goes:
1. To record, you MUST use CD-Rs that have "Digital Audio" in the Compact Disc logo, or specifically state that they are for music. That goes for ALL brands of stand-alone CD recorders, and it has to do with copyrights and royalties and related legalties. The machine will PLAY data CDs with audio on them (burned on a computer), but will not record to data CDs. If it says "DATA CD" in the display, you are using the wrong kind of disc.
2. The audio quality you get is as good as what goes in, so far, IME.
3. These seem to be finicky machines. Occasionally you will come across a CD it doesn't like, but it may take it after a couple of tries. Or not. Then you try another disc.
4. Read the entire owner's manual (They are still available on the Sony website). It's not the best laid-out manual, but everything you need to know is there.
5. You can't hurry these machines. If you happen to hear something you want to record immediately, you'd be better off grabbing a cassette, because it takes a CD recorder some time to get initialized and start recording. To get everything from live performances or broadcasts, you have to plan ahead with one of these.
6. As far as rating the "intuitiveness" (?) of the operation, I'd give it a 7 out of 10, but it's not a hard machine to learn.
7. Other reviewers have mentioned the noises it makes. It's not loud, but the power-on noises can be unnerving if you aren't used to them.
Overall, I really like it, but time will tell how reliable it is. It appears Sony has discontinued this model, but service and parts should be available for at least 7 years from the time they quit making it.

Perfect Fit, Except for One Minor Inconvenience
I installed this replacement keyboard in a DELL LATITUDE E5470 Laptop. It fit and worked perfectly. However, one of the smaller ribbon cables did not line up with its connector. This required that the ribbon be moved sideways enough to get it to seat properly. IMO, this may be because this keyboard is meant to fit several different model laptops, and possibly the connectors aren't in the same location in all models. However, shifting ribbon cables sideways is not easy and requires care and patience. I had to loosely loop the ribbon back over itself and make sure it wouldn't be crushed with the keyboard in place.
Initially, since that particular ribbon appeared to be connected only to the pointer button, I planned to leave it disconnected and flat since I don't use the pointer. However, Windows would not boot with it disconnected, so I did connect it, and now I also have the pointer function.
Overall I am very happy with the keyboard and would recommend it, subject to that one ribbon cable caveat.
