DRYWALL SCREWS: #8X2in Black Phosphate Coarse Phillips Bugle Head Screw 5lb

Hard to find #8 x 2 coarse drywall screw.

My Home Depot and Lowe's did not carry this #8 x 2 coarse thread drywall screw. They seemed to have everything except that so I was forced to go online. This is a good product. It is the same dimension as the Grip Rite brand except It has 8 TPI instead of the 9 TPI of the Grip Rite brand but should not be of great concern. The finish is a shiny black instead of the dull finish on Grip Rite.

Good, sensitive antenna for repeater or portable use.

This antenna comes ready to go and it resonates inside the band. The copper should last for many years. My reception tests showed that it is more sensitive within the band than my fiberglass vertical ground plane. However it loses that edge as you get further away from the band. But for amateur use within the band it is a great antenna. I highly recommend it for ease of installation or portable use. It is also a good permanent antenna for local repeaters. For the price it is a very good deal.

NEW VIKING DLE-200B TWO-WAY LINE SIMULATOR

Good buy on a phone line simulator

This is a good product and it does everything it is supposed to do. It is useful for a number of applications including communications and testing phones on the bench. It helped me isolate a bad phone at home. Something was causing a false pickup after the first ring. I tested all of my phones and found the defective one had leaked battery acid and it caused a burn on a printed circuit board. I repaired it and put it back into service. I initially thought the problem was caused by my ATT U-Verse modem but I wanted to be sure before calling for service. Since the problem was intermittent I had to do a lot of ringing to isolate the problem. This little gem did the trick. I may not use it a lot but when I do it will save me a lot of time. Glad I bought it.
